Why being nice is not enough, with Dr Colette Murray
In this first series of Early Childhood Ireland’s podcast for 2022, we look at the importance of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in our practice. Well-being and Identity and Belonging are vital to ensure children feel happy, safe and included and thus are able to play, develop and learn to their full potential. This series looks at why and how we can ensure this is embedded in our work.
Episode One. In this episode, Dr. Colette Murray talks about how she got involved in this work and why it is time we move from being nice to challenging ourselves and others more on our attitudes and biases.
